Nike sponsored the annual Panna Knockout competition, held in Amsterdam’s iconic music venue, The Paradiso.
Panna KO features two players facing off in a circular cage with a small goal in each half, but it’s not just about scoring goals - it’s all about nutmegging your opponent and showcasing lightning-fast footwork.
As this was the fifth and final year Nike would host the event, we suggested crowning the winner as The Grandmaster of GRANDMASTERDAM. Drawing inspiration from hand-cut hip-hop posters of 1980s New York, we portrayed the four previous champions as legendary figures returning for the ultimate showdown.
In the end, though, a younger challenger snatched the title—TAXI FOR FOUR!!!
